Teaser Tuesday: A Game Of Thrones

My quote for this week comes from A Game Of Thrones by George R R Martin, end of the prologue.

Long, elegant hands brushed his cheek, then tightened around his throat. They were gloved in the finest moleskin and sticky with blood, yet the touch was icy cold.

I read this book quite a few years ago, but on my recent trip to the US, I found the first book in audio at an awesome low price. So, I’m listening to it as I drive to work. There are so many small bits of the story I had forgotten about. Am half way through, and loving it.

My copy didn’t have as cool a cover as yours, but it was still a masterpiece! I read it twice, just to marvel at how he did that.
And I’ve got the DVD of the TV series awaiting my viewing pleasure.

I enjoyed A Game of Thrones. The books do take some getting through though. Love the teaser.

I’ve found that when I reread a book, I notice things that didn’t catch my attention the first time through. I love the description of the gloves.
