My quote for this week comes from The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater, pg 5.
It was freezing in the churchyard, even before the dead arrived. Every year, Blue and her mother, Maura, had come to the same place, and every year it was chilly.
I’ve been waiting to get my hands on this book for a while now, and I can’t believe I didn’t do it earlier. I love Maggie Stiefvater’s voice. She did a great job with her Shiver series, and now again, in The Raven Boys. I was pulled right into the dark world where Blue lives, and whose family are all talented psychics. Then there’s the Raven boys from the local school, who are gritty and not to be messed with. They each carry their own secrets. It’s a dark YA with some romance, but it’s very light on romance with the most that happens so far is hand holding. Maybe there’s more as I’m not finished yet, but regardless, I adore this story. I think this will be one of those stories I plan to read again and again. Here’s more if you’re interested: Goodreads

I don’t usually read dark stories, but I AM intrigued. So glad you’re enjoying it!
I’ll have to read something by her eventually. I’ve heard her name before.
I have yet to read a Maggie Stiefvater book! And it’s been on my TBR list for so long. Maybe I’ll start with this one.
That sounds awesome. Ravens are scary birds, and that sounds perfect for the cover of this particular YA selection.
Loved this one! I’m about to start The Scorpio Races!! Yay for Maggie’s writing!
Oh, this sounds good. I added it to my TBR list. Cool cover too!
I really want to read this. I’ve only read Shiver, but would like to read everything from her.
Great cover! If you like it, I’m sure I would too:-)
I just finished that a couple weeks ago, and loved it so much!! I definitely want to read her other books now. I think Scorpio Races is next for me.
I have Scorpio Races next on my list too:)
I’ve heard so many great things about her books. I must pick one up one day. Sounds great!
