As part of the tag, I have to answer a few questions about myself, and tag eight more bloggers – sounds like a fun challenge.
Do you think you’re hot?
Right now I’m going to say I’m freezing. It’s winter in Australia and the temperature dropped below zero degree Celsius during the nights. Though I just came back from a weekend away with hubby, and it was HOT there (wink), but we won’t go there!
Upload a picture or wallpaper that you’re using at the moment.
Okay, this I borrowed from a great artist called Damascus5 called The Naiads, and use it as my desktop because I love it. This image is fantastic, and every time I look at it, my imagination for writing flourishes, plus I love anything to do with sirens / mermaids. A very talented artist indeed.
When was the last time you ate chicken meat?
Hmmm I can’t remember exactly, but it was some time earlier this week, I think! I have a bad memory.
The song(s) you listened to recently.
‘And The Boys‘ by Angus & Julia Stone – really love this song. I listen to all their songs when I write actually.
‘Nobody’s Perfect‘ by Jessie J – new artist (at least to me) and I enjoy her style. Strong voice and words.
‘Lights‘ by Ellie Goulding – Someone new I recently discovered, and she is a must – awesome for writing those tense scenes.
I could probably go on forever here…
What were you thinking as you were doing this?
I’m thinking about the chapter I am currently editing of my urban fantasy novel, and how many more to go before I can start submissions.
Do you have nicknames? What are they?
Most people call me T or Tans – simple.
Tag 8 blogger friends.
This part is hard… (rubs hands together) – who to tag, especially since Annie tagged some of the ones I was going to tag.
1. David Craig
2. Nomar Knight
3. CJ Duggan
5. Ellen Lynn
8. Carole Gill
Who’s listed as #1?
David is a good friend of mine and a writing partner. We are now mid-way through co-writing a high fantasy novel – A troll slave finds himself a pawn between a battle of wizards, and must face his father’s treachery to save himself. David’s blog is close to being finalized, so I can’t link to it yet, but will once it’s complete.
Say something about #5.
I met Ellen on Book Blogs, and is on my frequent blog visit list. I highly recommend her blog to everyone.
How did you get to know #3?
I also met CJ on Book Blogs and quickly discovered she holds a weekly blog meme called Guilty Pleasures. Basically every Wednesday you confess your most embarrassing guilty pleasure – it’s always makes me laugh when I read other people’s confessions. Anyone can join in the fun.
How about #4?
She is a huge book lover and reviewer, and her blog is a frequent haunt of mine. Just recently she interviewed Lauren DeStefano, author of the YA novel, Wither, and it has to be one of the best interviews I’ve read recently.
Leave a message for #6.
Your blog is now on my list of visits – so expect me around more. Love your Sci-Fi related blogs.
Leave a lovey dovey message for #2.
I met Nomar on writing.com on a horror forum, and we bonded right away. I consider him a closer friend, and my message is – sorry I missed our skype chat this weekend, but I’m free anything time this week:)
Do #7 and #8 have any similarities?
Both are great writers. Carol’s horror stories are captivating and terrifying in a good way. Alex writes Sci-fi and his first book CassaStar was released late 2010.
That took a bit longer than anticipated, but it was all fun…. now it’s your turn!
