Here goes nothing…
If there is one thing I can’t do without, it’s a cup of tea. I say no to coffee because it upsets my tummy, but tea is my vice, and I have 3-4 cups a day. Black tea with a generous amount of milk are great for mornings, and by evenings I’ve moved onto herbal variants.
In my kitchen, I have a wall unit dedicated to tea items, and despite it being jam-packed, it doesn’t stop me from buying more. Yet, there are only certain brands of tea I will drink, and others I won’t touch, but we wont’ go there. Let’s have a stick-peek at my favorite – Celestial Seasonings.
An American owned brand of tea, Celestial Seasonings delivers real flavors – by this I mean, unlike other teas who tease you with scent only, you can also taste the flavor. My obsession started when I first discovered Lemon Zinger. What makes this so great is that it has real lemon and hibiscus in it.
My obsession had me scouring the supermarkets, and let me just say – they are not easy to find in Australia, though more recently the supermarkets are starting to carry them. And I bring you Sleepytime. My hubby drinks it before going to sleep as it helps calm him down from the day’s stresses. It has chamomile, cool spearmint from the Pacific Northwest, and lively Guatemalan lemongrass. Geez I sound like I work for them… that would be too cool:)
Celestial Seasonings apparently have 90, that’s right, 90 flavors… OMG it makes me want to buy them all. Except only a handful are available in Australia. Like look at their seasonal batch! I so want to try them – and if you live in the US and have tested them – please, do tell!
And I just love their packaging artwork.
Now, I was actually fortunate enough to meet the marketing manager in Australia for Celestial Seasonings. Okay, what really happened is that I attended a Food Show for work, and when I saw them exhibiting, I squealed, and then dragged my work colleagues over to their stand raving about their teas. I don’t want to say too much, except he recently visited me at work, and *squeal* he had new samples for me try. Yes, I get excited over the smallest thing, but come on.. this is my favorite tea.
What can’t you live without?
