Today is halloween, so for that reason I will skip the mythical creature post this week, even if there are plenty of scary beasts out there that would be perfect. Instead, I’m sharing photos from my halloween tea party on Sunday. My two nieces, Sammy and Tahlya, helped out a lot, so a huge thanks for them:)
Every party needs a point of entry... and the brighter the more fun it's bound to be.
A fun feast for every belly. BRAINS!!!!! Quiches, cheesy-mite scrolls, snickerdoodles...
My first attempt at making cake pops...
Cheescake with scary ghosts (they have been mistaken for snowmen, but don't let that fool you.)
Monsters everywhere... though not sure what werewolf man (a.k.a. hubby) is doing at the back!!!
Now for some behind the scenes photos…
Hubby carving the wonderful watermelon brain
It's messy work...
Sammy and Tahlya did an awesome job
Even angry bird pumpkin made an appearance... though a spy seems to have made it secretly into the photo... can you see him?
