Come on, who doesn’t love receiving presents. And don’t get me wrong, I also love giving pressies, it gives you that fuzzy feeling inside as you watch family and friends unwrap your gift. But today I want to talk about the wonderful things I got for Christmas. I won’t go on about every things I received, but want to focus on one specific kind of present. Something consistent from most of my family members. Books!!
Oh, how did they know I wanted books. Well, okay, maybe I hinted at it, and maybe even sent them a list of potential books, but regardless, I was blessed with an abundance of books I’ve had my eyes on for a while. And while I realize this instantly breaks one of my new year resolutions, I like to think that it’s not counted since I received the books before the new year. Yeah, that’ll work:)
My plan is to read them as quickly as possible, because then I can read all the other books I have:) I always get all hyped up when I get books, even if my bookcase now is incapable of holding not a single extra book.
Now on a sort of related topic, I want to share with you an awesome vampire bookmark my niece, Sam, made for me. She’s currently making me a werewolf one…She’s amazing. The bookmark sits on the corner of your page. Very clever. If anyone’s interested in making them, here is the link at I Could Make That.
So, what did you get from Santa?
