I’m not a plotter/outliner but more of a pantser/discoverer. Still, I’m trying to work out an outline instead of waiting for inspiration to hit. I would appreciate any tips/advice you can offer. Thanks.
I tried being a pantser and with half a novel that’s going nowhere I decided outlining was for me. Everyone does outlining so different… I recently attended an outlining course on Savvy Authors, which was perfect for me – it takes a lot of work up front, but is a great start since I know where I’m going with the story. I always start with a big idea and write myself a short back of a book style blurb, then start developing from there…
